If you enjoy the sound of bagpipes, watching sheep dogs work, are curious about your family's history, or you want to explore more about Scottish culture and history, then the Scottish Society is for you! There is no age limit and the Society is fully accessible.
Members enjoy a variety of activities, which include the annual Burns Night dinner and dance, regional highland games, picnics, auctions, Kirkin' O' the Tartan services, and regional music festivals.
As a new member, you will receive a packet that includes a colorful cloisonne pin, a welcome letter, and your name be added to our monthly newsletter email lists, so you will be informed of all Society events.
New members are invited to join one of our many member interest groups, or start new ones! Member networking and fellowship can be enjoyable and rewarding.
Monthly meeting are held at 7:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month at Strathmoor Presbyterian Church, 2201 Hawthorne Avenue, corner of Bardstown Road. Across from Assumption High School, 1/2 mile north of the Watterson Expressway (I-264).
